but that is actually one thing that Clintwood does well (the Fireworks). Trust me you don't want me to rant about how the town runs *lol*

We've been going over to Clintwood for the fireworks for a few years now. It's a pretty good show...for this area. The cool thing is that we usually get to go to two or three towns to see fireworks since they generally schedule them on different days anymore. Going over to the Tri-Cities is just too much of a hassle IMO.....too many people trying to get there and then leave at the same time. Not a good combination when you have tired, cranky kids in the car with you. And it doesn't do much for my nerves either. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]
......and I thought truth was universal. Silly me......
I, and Counts as well, have a friend who has a big field that more or less overlooks the football field. It's up in one of the hollars. We tend to go there, sit around, talk, watch the fireworks, not have to deal with a crowd, hang around a bit after them and go home.
It really is about the best of both worlds, you get the fireworks show and don't have to put up with way to many people in way to little space.
